Who I Am

Hey guys! That's me.  Not the one in the dress, I'm the one lucky enough to be with the one in the dress.  My name is Nick Jones, and that's my wife Raven.  We got married in May 2012, and have been learning ever since.

And here's what we are learning about now: Parenthood! Our son Caleb, was born in October 2014, and he's awesome.

I am the Director of Student Ministries at Foothills Bible Church in Littleton, CO.  I'm a Colorado native, but spent the last six years of my life in Texas! I'm excited to be back, but wouldn't trade my time in Texas for anything!

The Lord has given me a passion for students, and a passion for discipleship.  I get to combine those two every single day.  He continues to bless me by simply allowing me to be a part on their journey of making their faith their own.  It's exciting, exhausting, and makes me feel old.

I am learning new things about the Lord and His plan for my life daily, and believe with all my heart that unless I am teaching what I am learning, then I'm not living out His commands.  So that's what this blog is for.  Check it out, and I hope the Lord speaks to you like He does to me! We also have the podcasts from our Wednesday nights, so give those a listen if you are bored at work.  Not school, just work.
